Welcome to Tir-Cethin Farm!

Now we have finally started the conversion we are going to use this blog as a way of  showing you our exciting new project and letting you know how things are progressing.

The project involves the conversion of  two stone barns at Tir-Cethin into luxury holiday accommodation. We are going to incorporate the latest construction techniques alongside some ancient ideas.

We are also going to use as many environmentally sustainable technologies as possible. With the heating coming from a ground source heat pump and the hot water will be mostly delivered from solar panels on the roof. (Yes even in Swansea) The rainwater will be collected, and re-cycled back into the toilets and washing machines.

We also will be installing an environmentally friendly Hot Tub, but more of this at a later date.(or when it arrives from Estonia)
